Radiation Oncologist: Neal Mauldin, DVM, DACVIM (IM), DACVIM (Oncology), DACVR (RO)

Dr. Neal Mauldin is a triple board-certified veterinary specialist in internal medicine, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.Dr. Neal Mauldin Chief Veterinary Medical Officer Pet Cure Oncology Based in Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Mauldin provides remote treatment planning and telemedicine support for PetCure Oncology facilities across the country. He previously spent eight years at Louisiana State University as an associate professor and section head of therapeutic radiology. His advanced training includes veterinary school at Texas A&M University, internships and residencies at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and a prestigious fellowship in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Mauldin is a proud pet parent to Allie, a mixed breed rescued during Hurricane Allison; Shetland Sheepdogs Cami, Jenna, Charlotte, and Tuscan; and his horses Webster, Heston, and Betty Boop.

Supervising Veterinarian: Tracy Gati, DVM, DABVP (canine and feline), Emergency Founding Fellow ABVP

Dr. Tracy GatiDr. Tracy Gati is the Supervising Veterinarian for PetCure San Antonio and is excited to be provided a much-needed service to the pets of south Texas. Dr. Gati has previously been employed as a staff emergency clinician at Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists and the program director for the San Antonio location of ER Academy, which is an intensive mentorship program for veterinarians entering emergency medicine. She has been a valued member of the team since 2010. Dr. Gati attended the University of Mississippi and Louisiana State University for her undergraduate studies and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2003. Dr. Gati is board certified in canine and feline medicine through AVBP and is proud to be a founding fellow in ER specialty through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

Though she’s proud to hail from Louisiana she considers herself a converted Texan and loves calling San Antonio home.  Dr. Gati enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, 2 dogs and 3 cats.  She has been a Girl Scout troop leader since 2015 and her favorite thing to do is go camping with her girls.  In her spare time, she can be found shuttling her kids around the city, reading and hiking.
